About 20 years ago, Green Field was conceived as an art studio, where artists would simply be inspired by the wonders of nature, the rice fields, the sunset, the cackling ducks and the tall trees of Monkey Forest.

Owner Dewa Made Santana, a wellknown Balinese artist, has developed the area constantly until today to provide comfortable accommodations in a familiar atmosphere. In his gallery belonging to the hotel he likes to introduce the Ubud style of Balinese painting to the guest.
